Rumors of Fires is an ambient/instrumental project of Chicago-based Jeff Anderson. Combining electric and acoustic pianos, cello, guitar, and analog synths, he weaves delicate, introspective moments together with atmospheric and occasionally dissonant passages. Anderson is also a member of post-rock/shoegaze trio To Destroy A City, with releases on Oakland's n5MD label.
